Pumpkin soup at the Penthouse Party

It's a bit late to write about it now but I finally had a party in the penthouse last week and it was a great success. It featured guest appearances from Doc Nod, Phil the masked crusader, Caoimhe and the band of birthday fairies, two little french trolls, two swiss corpses and Mardi Gras Iz, unsurprisingly none of my English friends showed up. Everyone was treated to an exceptionally spicy pumpkin soup which some ate with their eyes wide open. There was an explosion of fireworks which I purchased legally at my local store. I managed to slightly burn one finger, probably due to my inexperience with fireworks having lived with firework prohibition for almost 28 years. Speaking of which I have now officially been living and breathing on this earth for 28 years, is it time to start lying about my age yet?
I've added some amazon links to the side panel, I guess they're my recommendations of the week or whatever, anyway I make money out of them so if you think I'm already rich enough just don't follow the link to buy stuff. The book was recommended to me by my friend Chris who inspires my guitar playing right now, Bob Dylan inspires his guitar playing and Woody Guthrie (the author of the book) inspired Dylans guitar playing. I think I inspire the guitar playing of one little boy, perhaps he would like to hear about Woody. The CD is by a band I saw live at the Junction a few weeks ago with Rachel and Avice, it was a kicking gig with a great mix of acoustic folk moments and mosh pitt madness.
